Ioannis Valiakos Cinematic, unforgiving and relentlessly melodic, this album would be the perfect soundtrack for a midnight walk in a deserted megacity. Remarkable musicianship and a great sense of melody, combined with a top notch and warm sound production. Between post rock and jazz, this album benefits greatly from the brilliant colours of the saxophone and the quality vocals and lyrics of their singer Nefeli. Hands down their best work to date, you 'd be making a serious mistake not to check it out today! Favorite track: Cinnamon.

I saw the signs in open seas Your picture now, a blurry memory I watched you walk into the storm As years passed from spring to fall The months last a million days And here without you there is only pain You hated past | Regret is theft Our memories are colorless Dreamed of you a sleepless end Amongst the living Live as it out of hand Drowned the pain reached to a shore Led by the sound of empty words..

She doesn't give me her name Breaks my heart Fiery wreath as a crown She is not afraid of fire She says, I have had enough She wants to leave this fucking neighborhood Dug so many walls with bare hands Yet everyone knows In her back pocket are the keys to her cell Always wanted to go Always wanted to go far away In her dreams She exits the scene shooting Didn't learn to live with a smile Merely learned how to waste time. She wanders in bars with cigarettes and alcohol They don't offer her flowers anymore She longs for guns n hunts Always wanted to go far away She asks what am I looking for One time, I know, but a hundred I don't She asks me how am I going to leave And I pray that booze will be my death She smiles n says "That's not what I meant" "Have you got a car? Come on, I'll drive!" I say "But I don't even know your name" Let's just say "I'm the one who gets away" "Come on, drink up n let's get out of here" Lips painted by angels Arms are reminiscent of branches Tattoos on her shoulders Her naked neck adorned with migratory birds She always wanted to get away Or fall into the fire I always wanted to get away But I have fallen into the fire.

There's a story on this side of the town Sometime two angels came down And they asked our souls Because our sins couldn't afford to pay And we gave ourselves And we gave our lives And everyday was a blindless hell Every room was an empty cell Then the angels came again And asked for more And we gave our time, our very very time Our every second Day after day we dig our fall And we left nothing Nothing But our songs, our ugly words Our misery, our daily tombs Those filthy angels Those bastard souls Greedy as their boss Never thought to stop but keep asking So we learn through this pain Carry this load in near eternity But we never, we never forget Never, never forget Just to teach our sons Our dirty words Our guilty blues Our vulgar songs So one day they would clip their wings and make them pay their filthy dept. Cause we never We never forget

End of another boring day Like lots and lots in our lives I left the office Closed the door behind me Coffee's taste still in my dry mouth It's a hot hot day Stinking sweat smells all around Awh! Maybe we are cursed with this nine-month-summer I unlock the door With triple secured locks – Awh! I feel so safe I say Hi! Fridge's door is open, hear no reply Are you sitting there since the time I left? You don't speak It's three days now with nothing to eat There's a stain on your dress and our house is a mess And I wonder, where did you roam? Where did you roam? Oh yeah, she roams We lost so much, with all this talking Those little lies you know I am sick of But now I 'm sure there will be no more Awh I love you too, where did you roam? But I think that our love truly failed Your broken neck will tell you the same Where did you roam?

about

Adolf Plays The Jazz Αθήνα, Greece

adolf plays the jazz openly stand against fascism.

In essence, the band is formed in 2002, even though the first song created under the name adolf plays the jazz was created in 1998.

The terms post-rock and shoegaze might be the most appropriate to describe their music, but adolf plays the jazz are influenced by everything they listen to, read or see...
